What is your earliest memory?

I remember toddling down my grandparents street out in front of their house and barely being able to walk when my "Uncle Gene" jumped out of the back of a van with a monkey mask on and I fell and cried. I don't remember any sounds at all and when I see it it's like a Kuchar super 8 with serious dutch angles. I remember thinking WHY IS GENE TRYING TO GET ME because I totally knew it was him in the monkey mask.
Gene soon after left my Aunt Sue because she was pregnant. He would have made a really good father.
His son, Robby, has been in jail a bunch and when he was about 7 or 8 I wrapped a fly in a piece of barbie clothes and told him not to open it just to eat it and he did. You could see little bits of flies in his mouth and he got ringworm a few weeks after which I felt responsible.
