SALEM, Ore. (AP) - A former Woodburn coach has gotten a state reprimand for biting the thigh of one of half a dozen wrestlers who tried to give him a wedgie.
At a December 2005 practice, the Teacher Standards and Practices Commission said, team members tried to give Peter Porath a wedgie - jerking his undershorts upward.
"At least six wrestlers, weighing between 180 and 215 pounds each, came up to Mr. Porath from behind in an attempt to give him a 'wedgie'. In the process of getting the boys off of him, Mr. Porath bit the inside of a wrestler's leg leaving distinct teeth marks," the commission said.
The commission called that "gross neglect of duty." It put him on probation for two years and said Porath must complete a class on appropriate behavior and write a public apology to the student he bit.
Porath was then the assistant wrestling coach. He teaches high school social studies at Woodburn. He no longer coaches wrestling, but does coach baseball, said Woodburn Superintendent Walt Blomberg.
Blomberg said the wrestlers were disciplined by the wrestling coach but did not receive academic penalties such as suspension.
"You can't place all the blame on the teacher. He characterized it as an attack," Blomberg said.
The student and his family did not pursue a complaint, but the district felt obligated to report the incident to the state, Blomberg said. The district also reprimanded Porath
McMINNVILLE, Ore. (AP) - A man dressed in a World War II military uniform attacked two employees at the Evergreen Aviation Museum this week.
McMinnville Police Capt. Dennis Marks said Gerald Lahey, a transient, broke into the rear of the building and smashed the glass panel of a display case. He then removed the coat, hat and pants from a World War II uniform and put them on.
Lahey was inside when operations director Phillip Jeager of McMinnville and cafe manager Cheryl McKay of Sheridan arrived for work Monday morning. Marks said Lahey punched Jeager several times and bit McKay.
Neither employee required hospitalization.
A museum spokeswoman said Lahey got into one of the museum's airplanes.
Lahey was booked into the Yamhill County Jail and arraigned Tuesday.

Dreams of an Ebony Girl - 40

I was in the hospital in Southern California in the summer of 2004 after suffering a very serious illness.
I nearly died. As it was I spent several weeks in the hospital, including four weeks in ICU.
What I remember most about that craumatic experience was the number of beautiful ebony nurses I had. Neating the end of my stay I began to fantasize about having a relationship with an ebony girl.
Now more than ever I find myself turning to the dark side.
I am a middle-aged white man, unmarried, no children. I am in my 40s now and getting better steadily. Are you an attractive ebony girl looking for a way out or just something different? Do you have no kids and not really any wish to have children? Do you look good in a swim suit? Are you interested in the possibility of going on a tropical vacation? Need someone to take care of you?
Well then shoot me a line and let's talk. I thought I had an African American girlfriend some months back but discovered all she wanted were a few free movies and dinner a few times. I did have the opportunity to make love with Tanya once, but to be honest it was just not enough. Now I no longer hear from her.
Call me a player or a sugar daddy if you must. Just send me a pic and let's start a conversation.
Here is a pic with me and Tanya. Surely you can do better.
Hope to here from you.
